Two Penn State Women’s Hockey Players Earn AHA Weekly Honors

Katelyn Roberts and Kendall Butze both earned weekly AHA honors for Penn State women’s hockey on Tuesday.

Roberts was named the Forward of the Week by the conference after a career-high six points over the weekend series against Syracuse. The Chanhassen, Minnesota, native scored the opening goal for the Nittany Lions in both games, and had a career day with four points on Saturday in the 11-2 win over the Orange.

Butze was tabbed as the Defenseman of the Week by the AHA after a five-point weekend. The Cleveland, Ohio, native had a team-best +5 rating during the series.

Penn State women’s hockey is back on the ice on the road at RIT at 6 p.m. on Friday, November 21.
