[Photo Story] Penn State vs. Nebraska

Nebraska traveled to State College this weekend to face Penn State for the last home game of the 2025 season. The Nittany Lions drubbed the Cornhuskers 37-10 to remain in the fight for a bowl game.
As always, our photographers were on the field to cover the meeting between two historical programs. Let’s take a look back at our favorite photos.
With a 7 p.m. kickoff time, the sun was setting over Beaver Stadium as Penn State arrived.




The Nittany Lions took the field for some warm-ups.






With it being the last home game, Penn State honored and celebrated the seniors.




The game started strong with Penn State’s defense forcing a turnover on downs. With his first-career score, Andrew Rappleyea put the Nittany Lions on the board.



To close out the first half, Nick Singleton scored two touchdowns, tying Saquon Barkley’s all-time Penn State career rushing touchdown record of 43.






To start the third quarter, Kaytron Allen secured a score with a 3-yard rushing touchdown.




Despite the game being at the start of Thanksgiving break, students and fans still showed out to support the Nittany Lions.



Kaytron Allen earned the title of Penn State’s all-time career rushing leader with 3,934 yards and counting under his belt. Shortly after, he brought the score to 37-10 with his second touchdown of the night.




Penn State’s defense showed strength throughout the game, holding Nebraska to just 10 points.




After the game, it was all smiles from the Nittany Lions, and “hire Terry Smith” chants were echoed throughout the stadium.






Penn State is set to play Rutgers at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, at SHI Stadium. Winner becomes bowl eligible.
