[Photo Story] Penn State vs. Indiana

What a ride, folks.

Despite its best efforts, Penn State fell short 27-24 to Indiana on Saturday. The Nittany Lions put up a fight against the No. 2-ranked Hoosiers.

As usual, our photographers were on site to capture all the action.

The team arrived at Beaver Stadium around 10 a.m.

Soon after, the Nittany Lions stepped onto the field for warm-ups.

The game started with a bang after a 16-yard punt return from Trebor Peña.

Shortly after the second quarter began, Nick Singleton put the Nittany Lions on the board with his first touchdown of the game.

It’s safe to say the students were fired up for this one.

Penn State’s defense continued to put pressure on Indiana throughout the game, giving quarterback Fernando Mendoza trouble.

After a 56-yard run from Singleton, he secured another touchdown after rushing it in from Indiana’s 2-yard line.

The student section couldn’t get enough of “Nick the Quick.”

Singleton put Penn State in the lead 24-20 in the fourth with a toss from Ethan Grunkemeyer.

Despite their best efforts, the Nittany Lions fell to the Hoosiers.

Penn State will travel to East Lansing on Saturday, November 15, to take on Michigan State.
