Penn State Students Facing Charges After Using Counterfeit Media Passes At Football Game

Two Penn State students are now facing counts of criminal trespassing and theft after using AI-generated counterfeit media passes in order to enter Beaver Stadium’s field on the game against Indiana on November 8.

Nikola Georgiev and Jyot Sahni were spotted on the field by an events specialist who recognized that the passes did not match for that game, and were then escorted off the field by security.

An official investigation by university police began the next day, after also being alerted to a TikTok showing Georgiev and Sahni using the fake passes to enter the stadium and restricted areas.

Georgiev admitted to creating the passes with AI, using fake names, and printing them at Staples the day before.

The students are both facing three felony counts of criminal trespassing and one misdemeanor of theft. Georgiev is facing two additional misdemeanor counts of forgery.
