Penn State Men’s Lacrosse Releases 2026 Schedule

The stage is set.

Penn State men’s lacrosse released its full schedule for the 2026 regular season Wednesday. The Nittany Lions, who are coming off a 12-5 season and trip to the Final Four, will play 12 games, six of which will come at home.

The season begins at noon on February 1 against Colgate at Panzer Stadium, which is the same date and location as last year’s season opener against the Raiders that resulted in a 14-9 Penn State victory. Colgate was ranked No. 14 in last year’s final USILA poll.

Also like last season, Penn State’s second game will be at home against Villanova at 1 p.m. on February 7. The Nittany Lions won last year’s matchup 15-5.

Penn State will then travel to its first of three Ivy League opponents on February 14 to play Princeton, which finished last year ranked No. 5. The road stand continues the following week at Navy on the 21st.

The Nittany Lions will then return to Panzer Stadium for back-to-back home games against Ivy League teams, with the first against Yale at 1 p.m. on February 28 and the second against defending national champion Cornell at 1 p.m. on March 7. The Big Red defeated Penn State in the Final Four last season.

On March 14, Penn State will close out the non-conference slate against North Carolina with a neutral-site matchup at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte. The Tar Heels finished last season at No. 12.

Following the road trip, Penn State will start Big Ten play against last year’s No. 2 team in Maryland at 1 p.m. on March 21 at Panzer Stadium. It will then face Ohio State, a top-10 team last year, on the road on March 28 and Johns Hopkins on the road on April 4.

The final home game of the year will take place at 1 p.m. on April 11 against another top-20 team, Michigan, before heading to face Rutgers, which was No. 20 to end last year, on April 18 to close out the regular season.

The Big Ten Tournament will be held from April 25 to May 2, and the NCAA Tournament will run from May 9 to 25 with the Final Four and National Championship games at Scott Stadium in Charlottesville, Virginia.
