Penn State Libraries To Host ‘De-Stress Fest’ Events Through December 18

With finals week approaching, the stress of the semester keeps rising for students. Penn State’s libraries are helping students out with multiple relaxing events as part of its semesterly De-stress Fest.

From Tuesday, December 9, through Thursday, December 18, Penn State will serve students with snacks, coffee, and relaxing activities. Here are the events Penn State has to offer.

Tuesday, December 9, To Thursday, December 11, At The Architecture & Landscape Architecture Library

In the Architecture and Landscape Architecture library, folks can find puzzles, snacks, and crafts available to de-stress. The library is located on the first floor of the Stuckeman Family Building, and the activities are available daily from 5-9 p.m.

Sunday, December 14, To Tuesday, December 16, At The Pattee & Paterno Library

The Leisure Reading Room in the Pattee Library will offer free coffee, snacks, and crafts from 3-8 p.m.

Monday, December 15, To Wednesday, December 17, At The Engineering Library

The Engineering Library, at 203 ECoRE Building, will offer coloring and jigsaw puzzles, along with snacks and beverages while supplies last.

Monday, December 15, To Thursday, December 18, At The Fletcher L. Byrom Earth & Mineral Sciences Library

All day from Monday, December 15, to Thursday, December 18, folks can stop by the Earth and Mineral Sciences Library at 105 Deike Building for coloring, Legos, and jigsaw puzzles. Snacks will be provided while supplies last. The library also offers group study rooms, One Button Studio, and a Virtual Reality Center. There is comfy seating and tables for study needs, as well as school supplies.

Monday, December 15, To Thursday, December 18, At The Physical & Mathematical Sciences Library

Folks can head over to the Physical and Mathematical Sciences Library at 201 Davey Lab for coloring, jigsaw puzzles, origami, and wellness boxes. Snacks and beverages will be available between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. while supplies last.
