Report: Penn State Football Cornerback Elliot Washington II Plans To Enter Transfer Portal

Penn State football cornerback Elliot Washington II plans to enter the transfer portal, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Washington has one year of eligibility remaining.

The three-year veteran has had significant snaps in Penn State’s defense and special teams since his true freshman season.

In 2025, Washington tallied 18 total tackles, one interception, and four passes defended.

As a sophomore, the corner appeared in 14 games and made his first career start. He accumulated 26 tackles, a half-tackle for loss, one interception, and six pass breakups.

In his freshman campaign, Washington appeared in 10 games, finishing with nine tackles and a tackle for loss.

The Venice, Florida, native was listed as a four-star recruit and ranked as the No. 39 player in the state, the No. 12 safety in the country, and the No. 171 player overall, according to 247Sports’ Composite rankings.

Washington is the second Nittany Lion to announce his intentions to enter the portal this offseason.
