Report: Penn State Football Defensive End Chaz Coleman Plans To Enter Transfer Portal

Penn State football defensive end Chaz Coleman has entered the transfer portal, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Thursday. Coleman has three years of eligibility remaining.

Although dealing with illness throughout the season, Coleman was a growing star of the Penn State defense this season, tallying eight total tackles, including six solo tackles, a sack, two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble, and a pass deflection after receiving the “green light” to burn his redshirt by former head coach James Franklin.

Coleman was a four-star recruit from Warren, Ohio, in the class of 2025. He was the No. 9 player from Ohio, the No. 31 edge rusher, and the No. 293 overall player nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Coleman joins one other Nittany Lion in the winter transfer portal window.
