Defensive End Zuriah Fisher No Longer With Penn State Football

Update, December 28, 11:22 a.m.

Fisher plans to enter the transfer portal, per On3’s Pete Nakos.

Original story:

Penn State football defensive tackle Zuriah Fisher is no longer with the program, Penn State Athletics confirmed to Onward State. The Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, native spent six years with the Nittany Lions. 247Sports’ Tyler Donohue reported first.

During his time in Happy Valley, Fisher played in 35 games, starting in the 11 games he was available in for the 2025 season. He finished his career with 41 tackles, seven tackles-for-loss, 5.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.

Fisher missed all of the 2024 season with an injury he picked up during spring camp. This was the second significant injury the defensive end dealt with while with Penn State. He was also sidelined for much of the 2022 season. While the 2024 injury was never disclosed, it was a knee injury in 2022.

It is unclear if Fisher will be granted any more eligibility.
