Penn State Football Wide Receiver Trebor Peña Wins Pinstripe Bowl Most Valuable Player

Penn State football wide receiver Trebor Peña won the Pinstripe Bowl Most Valuable Player, the organizers announced in Yankee Stadium following the 22-10 Nittany Lion win.

The Syracuse transfer led the game with 100 receiving yards and a touchdown. His 73-yard score in the fourth quarter was the spark Penn State needed to distance itself from Clemson. Peña had five receptions on seven targets.

The senior joined the Nittany Lions after receing all-ACC honors with the Orange a season ago. He finishes his first and only year in Happy Valley with 552 yards and two receiving touchdowns on 49 receptions. He also added an element to the rushing game, recording 69 yards on the ground in 2025.

The game against Clemson marks his first 100-yard performance since November 30, 2024. It was his first time as a Nittany Lion to hit that mark.
