Report: Penn State Football Wide Receiver Anthony Ivey Plans To Enter Transfer Portal

Penn State football redshirt-junior receiver Anthony Ivey plans to enter the transfer portal, according to a report from Pete Nakos. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

Ivey joined the Nittany Lions in 2022, making no appearances that season and redshirting. 2023 was a similar story as he played in just one game. In 2024, though, Ivey’s role increased, and he played in 15 games, making one grab for 15 yards.

In 2025, the Lancaster, Pennsylvania native played a limited role again, but did make nine appearances. No stats were recorded. After the Nebraska game, Ivey posted his practice tape on TikTok and gained support from fans to get into the game more.

The 5’11” and 191-pounder was a four-star recruit in high school, according to 247Sports composite rankings, and listed as the No. 7 player in the state, No. 32 wide receiver, and No. 225 player nationally. He chose Penn State over Auburn and Arizona State.

Ivey is the ninth Nittany Lion to enter the transfer portal since the end of the 2025 season. He leaves a young and talented wide receiver room, assuming everyone stays, with players like Koby Howard and Tyseer Denmark set to take over large roles in 2026.
