Report: Penn State Football Linebacker Keon Wylie Plans To Enter Transfer Portal

Penn State football linebacker Keon Wylie plans to enter the transfer portal, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Wylie has two years of eligibility remaining.
As a freshman in 2022, Wylie saw game action in three games, registering two tackles and half a sack. During his redshirt freshman campaign, he appeared in all 13 games, totaling 13 tackles, five tackles for loss, and three sacks. Wylie missed the entire 2024 season with an injury.
Once Tony Rojas went down with an injury early in the 2025 season, Wylie’s role increased in the middle of the Nittany Lions’ defense. The redshirt junior appeared in every game for the blue and white, finishing with 28 tackles, 2.5 tackles-for-loss, and one sack on the year.
The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, native committed to Penn State in July of 2021 as part of the prestigious Class of 2022 for former head coach James Franklin. Wylie was rated as a three-star linebacker out of Imhotep Charter.
Wylie is the 10th Nittany Lion to announce his intentions to enter the transfer portal.
