Penn State Football Safety King Mack Enters Transfer Portal

Penn State football safety King Mack has entered the transfer portal, according to a report by Pete Nakos. Mack leaves the Nittany Lions with one year of eligibility remaining.

Mack was at Penn State as a true freshman before transferring to Alabama as a sophomore and then back to State College this past offseason.

As a junior, Mack tallied 58 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 1 interception, and 0.5 sacks after earning starting reps at the second safety position early in the season.

In his first two seasons of college ball, Mack secured 17 total tackles.

The Miami native was listed as a four-star recruit, the No. 22 in the state of Florida, the No. 7 safety in the country, and the No. 91 overall player in the country, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Mack is the 27th Nittany Lion to enter the transfer portal this offseason.
