Report: Penn State Football Running Back Cam Wallace Enters Transfer Portal
Penn State football running back Cam Wallace is officially entering the transfer portal, according to On3’s Pete Nakos. Wallace leaves Happy Valley with two years of eligibility.
The redshirt sophomore saw the field in three games this season for the Nittany Lions. The Mount Vernon, Georgia, native had his best performance in week one against Nevada. Wallace carried the ball for five attempts and finished with 19 rushing yards, while also hauling in one reception for a 12-yard gain.
After redshirting his freshman season, in 2024, Wallace showed he could be a contributor for the Nittany Lions before his season was derailed with a season-ending injury. In the first three games of the campaign, Wallace totaled 18 carries for 63 yards and a score.
Wallace committed to Penn State as a three-star athlete out of Montgomery County High School. The 5’9″ running back chose the blue and white over Michigan State and Indiana.
Wallace is the 28th Nittany Lion to enter the transfer portal this offseason.
