Penn State Football Offensive Lineman TJ Shanahan Jr. Plans To Enter Transfer Portal

Penn State football offensive lineman TJ Shanahan Jr. is set to enter the transfer portal this January, according to his personal X account. Shanahan has two years of eligibility remaining.

The Orlando, Florida, product transferred from Texas A&M to James Franklin and the Nittany Lions ahead of the 2025 season. In his lone season wearing the blue and white, Shanahan appeared in every single game for Penn State, starting in four of them.

During his two seasons with the Aggies, Shanahan appeared in 13 games, starting in five before transferring to Happy Valley. The 6’4″ 315-pound lineman was a four-star recruit and the eighth-best interior offensive lineman in the country in the Class of 2023.

Shanahan is the 19th player to enter the transfer portal.
