Safety Christian Askew Commits To Penn State Football

The class of 2026 is slowly being rebuilt.

Former James Madison signee Christian Askew has committed to Penn State football and Matt Campbell’s new staff in Happy Valley.

The Kathleen, Georgia, native is unranked on the 247Sports composite rankings, but stands 6’4″ at 185 pounds. He projects to be a safety at the college level and was originally signed to Bob Chesney’s staff at James Madison before he left for the UCLA head coaching job.

Askew is the 14th player to commit to the Nittany Lions this cycle.
