Punxsutawney Phil To Make State College Appearance

If you’ve ever wanted to meet America’s favorite groundhog, it’s your lucky week, folks.

Punxsutawney Phil, the illustrious weatherman, is making a stop right here in State College for a meet-and-greet.

The event will be hosted by The Press: Cider & Craft Beverage Taphouse from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 17. Come for photo ops and a chance to see this celebrity without all the lights and fanfare of Groundhog Day.

Everyone at The Press hails from Punxsutawney, and they are excited to share their “Punxsutawney magic” with the people of State College.

Although The Press is usually a 21+ location, the event is open to everyone and is family-friendly.
