[Photo Story] Penn State Men’s Hockey Hosts Annual Sled Hockey Classic

Fans packed Pegula Ice Arena for the fourth annual Penn State Sled Hockey Classic against the State College Coyotes on Sunday afternoon. The event brought together students, families, and community members for a day of hockey.

The annual matchup not only highlights competitive sled hockey but also raises awareness for adaptive sports and the athletes who play them. For many in attendance, the game served as both an exciting sporting event and an opportunity to support inclusivity in athletics.

Fans filled the stands and gathered up in purple and white to show support for the Coyotes.

Up first was the State College Coyotes’ White Team versus the Purple Team.

After a hard fight, the White Team won 5-1 after two periods.

Shortly after, our very own Penn State men’s hockey team took the ice to play against the Coyotes.

The Nittany Lions secured the 3-2 win in the second period over the Coyotes.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and brought your spirit for the cause!
