Penn State Men’s Lacrosse’s Hunter Aquino & Alex Ross Tabbed To Tewaaraton Watch List

Two members of Penn State men’s lacrosse were named to the Tewaaraton Award watch list, it was announced on Tuesday.

The Tewaaraton Award has annually honored the top male and female college lacrosse players in the country since 2021.

Hunter Aquino, a sophomore midfielder for the Nittany Lions, leads the team with 10 points through the first two games of the season. The Easton, Pennsylvania, native has netted seven goals so far this season. He was a strong contributor in his freshman season as well, finishing second on the team in points in 2025.

Alex Ross has scored one goal through the opening two weeks of the season from his defenseman position. The senior also has three groundballs won, while holding down the defensive unit for head coach Jeff Tambroni.

The Nittany Lions are back on the field at noon this Saturday, February 14, against No. 3 Princeton.
