Partnerships We Want To See At THON

THON has countless opportunities where brands could contribute and even benefit through partnerships. Categories to consider could be food, energy boosters, footwear, clothing, and more.
Here are some potential partnership ideas we think would add to the magic of THON Weekend.
Gatorade
While Gatorade is commonly known as a sports drink, the electrolytes help with muscle strength and stamina throughout the event. A sponsorship could provide more options around the BJC besides constant energy drinks.
Chipotle
Why not include possibly the most popular fast food chain of the younger generations? Chipotle has a fresher selection of foods, which could be a good change from the fried food on the concourse.
Also, who doesn’t simply love Chipotle? Everyone would love to have a Chipotle food bar or small bowls to build.
HOKA Or New Balance
Standing for 46 hours can definitely take a toll on your feet. HOKA and New Balance can provide comfort, cushioning, and supportive gear for feet, the warriors of the weekend.
They could also possibly give away some shoes for dancers that are a better fit for comfort.
Benny Leones
The biggest and arguably the best pizza in State College could be a great partnership with THON. It’s not actually too hard to carry around, and pretty convenient for filling up on one cheap food item.
The line is always long at Benny’s, and I’m sure that could translate in the BJC as well.
Starbucks
You guys have seen that line in the HUB Starbucks, which would be great for THON. Some coffee from the highest quality chains would be great for staying awake through 46 hours.
Many people would invest in some caffeine from a popular brand like Starbucks.
Adidas
There’s a new clothing sponsorship for Penn State, so why not THON? Maybe some separate clothing designs for pants or socks would help, as shirts are typically already made specifically for THON.
Maybe some clothing besides shirts and sweatshirts could be specially made for THON. Having the best comfort is always thought about when deciding what to wear, and a brand as big as Adidas helping THON would boost recognition and comfort.
Stanley
Water bottles always need to be filled. Stanley is a popular water bottle choice among college students and younger audiences for everyday use.
With Stanley’s help, people can replenish their thirst for THON using an efficient and stylish bottle.
Many brands could be possible for partnerships with THON, but these partnerships could truly resonate with the students. Everyone working THON could use some extra pleasure and enjoyment for the amazing magic brought every year.
