Penn State Things Longer Than The Water Fountain Lines At THON 2026

We’ve all been there. You run out of water in your bottle at THON, and you just know you’re cooked. Buying water is your absolute last resort, so where does that turn you? The infinitely long wait at the refill station. It’s kind of a rite of passage for THON, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t suck.

Still, remember that it can always be worse. Here are some Penn State things that definitely take longer than refilling your bottle at THON.

Getting Creamery Ice Cream On A Football Weekend

We all know how crowded town gets every fall Saturday when the Nittany Lions are set to play in Beaver Stadium. And we also all know how beloved the Creamery is, especially by alumni. When alumni and people visiting Penn State for the first time get together for a game, good luck trying to get a sweet treat. That line nearly reaches all the way to the dreadful four-way intersection on Curtin and Bigler. I’d bet good money you get your hydration fix before your ice cream fix.

Your Edge Order On A Saturday Morning

What is it with people and getting Edge on the weekends? I will admit I contribute to this heavily, but it’s absolutely ridiculous when I don’t want to leave my room and want to place a pick-up order, only for the wait to be an hour and a half. If you want Edge, you literally have to time it out from the second you wake up and get ready for the day. I’d much rather just wait in line for my water at THON.

Ten Minutes Of Penn State Hoops

Okay, this one’s kind of a joke, but wow. Ten minutes feel like an eternity. The THON water line tests your patience, but Penn State hoops challenges your soul.

THON Itself

If you’re fretting about waiting half an hour for a water refill, just remember that there are over 700 people on their feet for 46 hours, all For The Kids. Complaining about a long water line simply pales in comparison.
