It’s time to get excited because State Patty’s is almost here!

Looking for an outfit for the best weekend ever? Downtown State College has plenty of options. From going out tops to green Penn State gear, they have everything to make your outfits pop.

To make shopping easier, we ranked State Patty’s Day clothes from downtown stores, from best to worst.

1. Lucky Charms Hoodie – McLanahan’s

This sweatshirt is super cute, and I love the Lucky Charms design. It’s very reasonably priced at $24.99 and will keep you warm throughout the weekend. Bonus points for the variety of other hoodie options.

2. Lucky Lion – Lion & Cub

The Lion design’s creativity is what makes this shirt really stand out. Lion & Cub was also the only store to have this specific design. I love how they incorporated the Nittany Lion into the State Patty’s theme.

3. Irish Goodbye Hat – Town Pride

This hat is perfect if you’re not feeling the green vibe but still want to be festive. Town Pride also has a lot of cute green State Patty’s hoodies, but they’re definitely more on the pricey side.

4. State Baby Tee – Lion & Cub

Lion & Cub has great women’s and men’s pieces for State Patty’s. They have plenty of T-shirts with multiple different designs. They also carry crewnecks and hoodies with green shamrocks.

5. Everybody Getting Tipsy Hoodie – The Family Clothesline

Family Clothesline doesn’t offer the widest selection, but they do have a few designs in both T-shirts and hoodies. They also have beaded necklaces and State Patty’s shot glasses.

7. Going Out Tops – Barefoot Metro

Barefoot Metro offers a wide selection of going-out tops and green pants. It can be on the more expensive side, but they have really cute designs you can wear even after State Patty’s.

8. State T-shirt – Student Bookstore

Student Bookstore really slacked off this year with their State Patty’s gear, only having one rack. This was the best design out of their very limited options. On the bright side, the shirts are very affordable, with most of them costing $14.99.
