Four-Star Cornerback Kei’Shjuan Telfair Commits To Penn State Football

Class of 2027 four-star cornerback Kei’Shjuan Telfair has committed to Penn State football, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

The Euclid, Ohio, native is ranked as the No. 4 player in the state, No. 12 cornerback in the class, and No. 93 player nationally, per 247Sports’ Composite rankings.

The Nittany Lions were Telfair’s first offer, dating back to October 4, 2024, during James Franklin’s tenure. However, Terry Smith was the primary recruiter of the cornerback during his time as defensive backs coach.

Telfair’s high school, Euclid, has a history of sending defensive backs to Happy Valley. Anthony Johnson, Chris Harrell, and TJ Johnson Jr. all hailed from the same school before wearing the blue and white.

Telfair is the second player to commit to Penn State on Sunday, joining three-star offensive lineman Jon Sassic. He is the Nittany Lions’ 11th commit and highest-rated recruit in the 2027 recruiting class so far.

The cornerback chose Penn State over Miami, Clemson, and Arkansas. To see what the newest Nittany Lion brings to Happy Valley, check out his Hudl highlights.
