Three-Star Offensive Lineman Jon Sassic Commits To Penn State Football

Class of 2027 three-star offensive lineman Jon Sassic has committed to Penn State football, he announced via Instagram on Sunday morning.

The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, native is the 69th-ranked interior lineman nationwide, and No. 31 in Pennsylvania, according to 247Sports’ Composite rankings. He has also made appearances at offensive tackle over the course of his career.

Sassic is a teammate with Zachary Gleason in high school, a recent Penn State cornerback commit. The two future Nittany Lions play together at Central Catholic High School.

Sassic chose Penn State after receiving offers from Pitt, West Virginia, Florida State, Virginia Tech, and NC State. Folks interested in seeing what Sassic brings to the Nittany Lions can watch his Hudl tape here.
