Penn State Men’s Volleyball’s Sean Harvey Named EIVA Player Of The Year

Sean Harvey was named EIVA Player of the Year, the association announced Tuesday. Harvey is the 24th Nittany Lion to receive the honor.Β
The redshirt sophomore leads the EIVA in hitting percentage at .373 with an average of 3.8 kills per set. He has 339 kills on the season, with a career-high 22 against Princeton in February, and has tallied 21 matches with double-digit kills.
The 6’7″ outside hitter was also named EIVA Offensive Player of the Week four times this season, most recently on Monday for his efforts against George Mason.Β
Harvey and the Nittany Lions will face Charleston or Sacred Heart in the EIVA Tournament semifinal matchup on Thursday, April 23, in Rec Hall.Β
