[Photo Story] Penn State Football’s First Blue-White Practice

Penn State football returned to Beaver Stadium on Saturday, marking the first Blue-White Practice ever. This year’s format shifted away from a traditional game, focusing more on controlled practice-style work and situational periods to better evaluate players ahead of fall camp. Despite the rainy weather, fans showed up to get an early look at a new roster, including several fresh faces and key returners, as the Nittany Lions wrapped up spring ball.

Starting the day, fans lined outside Beaver Stadium, welcoming the team’s arrival ahead of the Blue-White Practice.

Players warmed up across the field as fans filtered into the stadium, many getting their first look at the 2026 roster.

The team then divided into individual and special teams drills.

Fans got the first extended look at new head coach Matt Campbell.

Despite the downpour of rain, it was still a good time for everyone!

The practice ended with some 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 team drills. Offensively, all eyes were on Rocco Becht, the new quarterback.

As Blue-White Practice ended, players headed off the field, closing out spring ball in rainy Happy Valley.

We’ll be back in Beaver so soon, folks!
