[Photo Story] Penn State Women’s Lacrosse 2026 Season

The 2026 season came to an end for Penn State women’s lacrosse following a 7-5 loss to the sixth-ranked Stanford Cardinals at U-M Lacrosse Stadium in the NCAA Tournament.

In her first year, head coach Kayla Treanor brought a high-powered offense that scored 85 more goals than the previous season. Delaney Radin led the team in assists with 57 and total points with 84. Rocquette Allen, Big Ten Freshman of the Year, led all other freshmen in goals, assists, and points. Allen finished the season with 45 goals, tied with Kelly MacKinney for the season’s best. The Nittany Lions finished the 2026 campaign with three All-America Honorable Mentions in Maggie Driver, Radin, and Allen.

This season has set high hopes for the future and given great reason to be excited about what is to come. Whether it was Holuba Hall or Panzer Stadium, the team was having fun. Without further ado, let our photographers help you take a look back on the 2026 women’s lacrosse season.

The positive vibrations fueled this team. Women’s lacrosse started its season 3-0, beating Richmond, Massachusetts, and Bucknell. In two of these three games, they scored more than 15 goals, reflecting the impact Treanor was having on her new squad.

Penn State finished its season with a record of 12-7 and 4-4 in conference play. A noticeable improvement from last year’s record of 7-9 overall.

Big Ten Freshman of the Year Allen was a problem for opposing teams’ defenses. The Nittany Lion won Big Ten Freshman of the Week six times, the most by any freshman in program history.

Close games in conference play were not fair to the Nittany Lions this season, as they lost to both Maryland and Johns Hopkins by one goal. The Blue Jays game ended in an overtime power-play goal.

This Penn State offense could score (and celebrate). They had 267 goals as a team with a 49% shooting percentage. Now that’s something to write home about.

Emma Kelly had 120 draw controls, which put her 4th in the Big Ten in that statistic.

And as always, the Penn State faithful showed up for their sports. Especially if it was their daughter.

Thankfully, no beautiful day was taken lightly in Panzer Stadium. Lacrosse games had some of the best weather we saw this year.

The future is bright for the women’s lacrosse program. Penn State is practically knocking on the door.

The spring blew by so fast for many. Lacrosse fans are hoping for that same speed until the next season.

It is not a goodbye, it’s a see you later. Mark your calendars now. Next February will be an exciting time for Penn State women’s lacrosse.
