Penn State Baseball’s Michael Anderson Named To First Team All-Big Ten

Penn State baseball’s Michael Anderson was named to the First Team All-Big Ten as a utility player, the conference announced Tuesday.
Anderson is the 18th All-Big Ten first-teamer in program history. His selection marks the first time Penn State has had back-to-back first-team honorees since 2011 and 2012. Paxton Kling was selected to the All-Big Ten first team in 2025.
Before transferring to PSU for his senior season, Anderson played at Rhode Island from 2023-24 and at Arkansas in 2025. He set the Penn State single-season record with 20 home runs. He also set a season record for hit-by-pitches, with 18.
Anderson led the Big Ten with a 1.212 OPS and 141 total bases. His 20 homers and .742 slugging percentage were both good for second in the conference. He ranked in the top 10 in at least six additional hitting statistics.
Anderson is out of college eligibility, but fans can expect to hear his name called at the MLB Draft in July.
