The Picklr To Open State College Location In August

Indoor pickleball franchise The Picklr is set to open a State College location at 503 Benner Pike in Benner Pike Shops in August. The 27,000 square-foot facility will open across the street from the Happy Valley Casino.

The Picklr will feature nine courts with outdoor surfacing done by Just Courts, which also lays down surfaces for The Professional Pickleball Association. Former Penn State football player Steve Smith will own and operate the location, which will also feature a pro shop and private event space.

The Picklr members can access unlimited open play, leagues, and tournaments, and exclusive programming. The location will also provide The Picklr Academy, a development program for pickleball players of all skill levels.

A membership at The Picklr State College can access any of the company’s 500 new clubs in North America. Folks can now join for a Founder Membership here.
