White Out & Cornerback Audavion Collins Featured In College Football 27 Release

On Thursday, EA Sports released the full trailer for College Football 27 on its YouTube channel, featuring developers discussing the game afterward. The joint Madden 27 and College Football game showed teams from both levels of play, including Penn State.
In the actual trailer, which is just under two minutes, Penn State is shown twice.
The first time is Jeremiah Cooper getting beaten over the top by Maryland’s Dorian Fleming. In a leaked ratings file, Cooper was set to be 91 overall and Penn State’s highest-rated player.
Another image of Penn State’s Beaver Stadium was also used in the trailer. In what appears to be a stripe out, fans can be seen jumping with excitement.
This was a tease for the new and highly anticipated addition of user-selectable crowd themes, which developers talked about after the trailer.
This means that when playing head-to-head or offline, users can select Penn State’s White Out or stripe out when playing at Beaver Stadium.
It is likely that those are not the only two options, but were the only ones given during the sneak peek.
Cornerback Audavion Collins and linebacker Cael Brezina also made appearances during gameplay review. To show off the new inside-and-outside release, EA Sports used Ohio State linebacker Jeremiah Smith running routes on Collins.
In both instances, Collins gets beaten, and someone else makes the tackle. For the inside release, Smith was crunched by Brezina just after making the catch. This tells us Brezina will at least be a top-three-rated linebacker for Penn State in the game.
While not visually shown in the trailer, the Nittany Lion will also likely be in the game this year. EA Sports brought back the highly popular Mascot Matchup feature, allowing folks to play 11-on-11 with teams of mascots.
It does appear you will have to earn new characters in the game mode, with the Nittany Lion not one of the base players.
Fellow Big Ten mascots Brutus Buckeye of Ohio State and Puddles of Oregon will be in the game.
While blurry, the footage appears to show Penn State wearing its new Adidas jerseys in the game.
