Mallory Hasselbeck To Join Penn State Women’s Lacrosse Coaching Staff

Penn State women’s lacrosse announced the addition of Mallory Hasselbeck to the coaching staff on Monday.
“Mallory has always had a special love for the game and a relentless desire to learn,โ head coach Kayla Treanor said in a press release. โFrom being the top recruit in the country to excelling at both Boston College and Stanford, she has consistently approached every opportunity with humility and determination. We’re thrilled to welcome her to Penn State and know she has a bright future in coaching.”
Hasselbeck spent four seasons with Boston College, where she appeared in 46 games and earned two All-ACC Academic team selections. She won two ACC titles with the Eagles and an NCAA Championship in 2024.
After graduating from Boston College in 2025, she attended graduate school at Stanford, where she recorded career highs in goals, assists, points, and ground balls en route to helping the Cardinal make their first NCAA Quarterfinal appearance.
Hasselbeck comes from an extremely athletic family. Her father, Matt, played in the NFL for 17 years, as did her uncle, Tim, and her grandfather, Don. Her mother, Sarah, was also an athlete at Boston College, playing field hockey for the Eagles.
