Hockey season is right around the corner, folks.

After the Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) released its women’s conference schedule toward the end of May, Penn State women’s hockey announced its full 2026-27 schedule. Its season will feature a 34-game regular season slate.

The Nittany Lions will play 17 games at home and 15 on the road. The team will start off with a preseason scrimmage against RIT on September 18 at home, before opening the regular season at Pegula Ice Arena against Ohio State on September 24 and 25.

Penn State will then remain home for the following weekend to host Robert Morris before embarking on its first road trip of the season with a two-game series at Syracuse on October 9 and 10.

Women’s hockey returns to Pegula Ice Arena for a home series against Lindenwood on October 16 and 17, before going on the road for two consecutive weekends at St. Lawrence on October 23 and 24, and RIT on October 30 and 31.

After a bye week at the beginning of November, Penn State will be back on the road to Mercyhurst on November 13 and 14, before returning home to host Delaware on November 19 and 20.

During the Thanksgiving break, the team will be at the D1 in DC tournament in Washington, D.C., where it will face off against Boston College on November 27 and Minnesota on November 28.

December will start with a home series against Syracuse on December 4 and 5, then travel to Princeton on December 9 to close out the first part of the season before the break.

The second half of the schedule opens with a home series against Cornell on January 1 and 2, followed by a home matchup against Princeton on January 6.

After its second bye week of the season, Penn State returns to conference play in a road series against Robert Morris on January 15 and 16, and then matches up with Mercyhurst on January 22 and 23 at home.

The regular season schedule will conclude with a road trip to Delaware on January 29 and 30, followed by a home series against RIT on February 5 and 6, and finally a road series at Lindenwood on February 12 and 13.

Penn State women’s hockey is looking to build on last season’s success, where it won its fourth conference title and advanced to the NCAA tournament quarterfinals for the first time in program history.
