Penn Staters Invited To Sign Up For 2026 Roar Tour 

With the 2026 Penn State football season less than two months away,registration is open for the Penn State Alumni Association’s Roar Tour lineup.  

These events bring Penn State pride on the road, creating high-energy gatherings at away games where alumni can connect, celebrate, and experience the excitement of game day together. Typically featuring appearances from the Pep Band, Penn State Cheerleaders, the Nittany Lion, and special guests, each stop offers a spirited, can’t-miss celebration of the Penn State community. 

Highlights of this year’s schedule include a special Pregame at Hintz and the first-ever Washington Sailgate.These events will have limited capacity, and registration includes food, drinks, entertainment, premium giveaways, and more.  

Pregame at Hintz (Friday, Oct. 9) 

The Alumni Association will host a home edition of the Roar Tour to unite alumni and fans the night before Penn State hosts USC. The Central PA Tasting Trail, a coalition of the region’s breweries, wineries, distilleries and cideries, returns with a wide array of selections, and foodies will have the opportunity to try a host of offerings from local favorites.  

The Penn State Cheerleaders and Nittany Lion will perform at the event, which will take place at the Hintz Family Alumni Center.  

Washington Sailgate (Saturday, Nov. 7) 

Nittany Lions fans can cruise Lake Washington aboard the Spirit of Seattle before Penn State battles Washington for a truly unique Penn State celebration This special gathering will take place within view of Husky Stadium, and registration includes elevated food and drink offerings, a VIP lanyard and commemorative pin, and scenic views of the Pacific Northwest.  

The event will feature performances from the Pep Band Trumpet Line, Penn State Cheerleaders, and Nittany Lion.

Maryland Pep Rally (Saturday, Nov. 28)  

Penn Staters can fuel up on spirit and connect with Nittany Lions at College Park before the Nittany Lions battle the Terrapins. In addition to picking up a VIP lanyard and collectible pin, attendees can enjoy performances from the Pep Band, Penn State Cheerleaders, and Nittany Lion, and fun, family-friendly games.  

Welcome Parties

At every road game, fans can join fellow Penn Staters for a fun night of spirit and camaraderie. These events often include performances from the Pep Band, Penn State Cheerleaders, and Nittany Lion, and the venues typically have a full food and beverage menu available for purchase; on a few occasions, food trucks will be available onsite.
