Dunkin’ & Jimmy John’s To Open In Business Building This Fall

National food chains Dunkin’ and Jimmy John’s are set to open locations in the Business Building, the university announced Monday.

The space was previously occupied by the college coffee chain Saxbys, which served drinks, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, wraps, and more.

Both locations will accept the Penn State meal plans and LionCash. Smeal College of Business officials believe the initiative will refurbish the cafe space and make it an attractive central dining spot for the campus community.

“From the start, we wanted this to be a decision made with our community, not just for it, and the response to the vendor presentations was fantastic,” John and Karen Arnold, Dean of Penn State Smeal College of Business, Corey Phelps, said. “The cafĂ© is about so much more than coffee or lunch. It’s one of those places where our community really comes together. I can’t wait to see this space come back to life.”

The Dunkin’ and Jimmy John’s are expected to open later this fall, but specific opening dates and hours of operation have not yet been announced.
