Folks, the Matt Campbell era is officially here.

Penn State took on Marshall in the season opener at Beaver Stadium in the annual Stripe Out game. The first game back in Beaver Stadium did not disappoint, as the Nittany Lions demolished the Thundering Herd in a 45-0 victory.

Our photographer was there to capture all the action for Campbell’s first game as the head coach of Penn State football.

Despite the construction, Beaver Stadium was packed with 108,489 fans wearing their blue and white.

Koby Howard took it 42 yards to the end zone to tally the first touchdown of the day for the Nittany Lions.

Penn State dominated on both sides of the ball in the first half.

Benjamin Brahmer put the Lions up another six to go into halftime up 24-0.

Zay Robinson was all smiles after scoring the first touchdown of his collegiate career.
