Penn State Football Defensive End Max Granville Out For Rest Of Season

Penn State football defensive end Max Granville will miss the remainder of the season after suffering an injury in practice, Matt Campbell announced during postgame media availability on Saturday.

“Obviously, a really tough blow for the football team, and really most importantly, a really tough blow for Max,” Campbell said.

After appearing in seven games as a true freshman in 2024, the redshirt sophomore missed all of 2025 with a long-term injury.

Granville logged one pass deflection in the season opener against Marshall.

Granville was seen walking without any kind of aid during pregame warmups and following the game.
