Penn State Women’s Volleyball Climbs To No. 9 In Latest AVCA Poll

Penn State women’s volleyball has climbed three spots to No. 9 in the AVCA poll, the association announced on Monday.

The Nittany Lions had an excellent week, beating DePaul, Stanford, and Ohio.

Since falling to No. 3 Kentucky at Wrigley Field, the Nittany Lions have found their groove. While Penn State also swept DePaul and Ohio, its biggest win was against No. 4 Stanford at the Palestra. In White Out conditions, Kennedy Martin led the way with 14 kills as Penn State swept Stanford.

Penn State will hope to continue the win streak going into its next match against Villanova on Tuesday, September 15, at 7 p.m.
