Penn State Hoops Announces 2026-27 Big Ten Schedule

Penn State men’s basketball has announced its conference schedule for the 2026-27 season, with notable games at Wisconsin, Michigan State, and UCLA, and home games against Purdue, Maryland, and Michigan.
The Nittany Lions will face their first Big Ten opponent at home against Nebraska on December 8. The team will follow with a game at Illinois on December 12, then kick off the new year at home against Oregon on January 2 after the final run of non-conference games.
The team then travels to the Twin Cities to take on Minnesota on January 6, right before coming home again to play Northwestern on January 10.
The next two games for the Nittany Lions will be on the road at Wisconsin on January 13 and Ohio State on January 17. The team takes a quick trip back to Happy Valley to face Purdue on January 20, then heads to Iowa City, Iowa, to face the Hawkeyes on January 23. Penn State will follow with a game up north in East Lansing, Michigan, against Michigan State on January 26.
The Nittany Lions will play a three-game home stand next. Penn State will face Maryland on January 30, Indiana on February 2, and Ohio State on February 6.
The team will then travel to Nebraska to face the Cornhuskers on February 12 for a second matchup before returning to the Bryce Jordan Center once again to play Washington on February 17.
Penn State then takes a quick trip to New Jersey to play Rutgers on February 20, then returns to face reigning national champion Michigan on February 23.
The team will follow with a trip out west to play at UCLA on February 27 and USC on March 2.
Penn State concludes its season at home for a second game against Rutgers on March 7.
Mike Rhoades and Co. finished last in the Big Ten in 2025-26 with a 3-17 record.
