No Refund Theatre Presents: ‘The Pillowman’

No Refund Theatre (NRT) is back!

Kicking off a semester of Theatre fun, Olivia Sarsfield directs “The Pillowman” in NRT’s first show of the year.

“The Pillowman,” written by Martin McDonagh, follows a writer, Katurian, who is arrested and interrogated by the police after someone mirrors his gruesome short stories.

The play brings intense emotion and unsettling scenes, and folks will find themselves questioning fiction and reality as they go through it.

As the story progresses, folks witness the characters’ thought processes about how the murders happened.

Katurian and his brother, who was put in jail next to Katurian, are questioned while their stories reveal disturbing secrets.

To learn more about Katurian and the mystery behind the evil acts, head to NRT when the show premieres. The mystery is well worth it.

“The Pillowman” premieres on Thursday, September 17th, and runs through Saturday, September 19, in Forum 111 at 8 p.m.

The play contains disturbing topics that may be triggering for some viewers.
