Penn State men’s hockey released its full 2026-27 regular season schedule Friday, finalizing its conference dates after announcing its non-conference slate in June.

The Nittany Lions will open the season at the Ice Breaker Tournament against UConn on October 9 and Sacred Heart on October 10. Both games are set for 7 p.m.

Guy Gadowsky’s squad returns to Pegula Ice Arena for its home opener against Quinnipiac at 7 p.m. on October 16. Penn State will then host Robert Morris on October 20 and Canisius on October 23 and 24 before beginning Big Ten play.

The conference schedule opens up with a trip to Minnesota on October 30 and 31. The Nittany Lions will welcome Notre Dame to Hockey Valley on November 6 and 7 for their first home Big Ten series before visiting Michigan and Wisconsin on consecutive weekends.

Penn State returns home to face Princeton on November 27. The team will then take on Army at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on December 10 before hosting the Black Knights at Pegula two days later.

After a break, the Nittany Lions will close out 2026 at home against Niagara on New Year’s Eve. They’ll travel to Niagara on January 2 to finish the series.

Big Ten play resumes with Ohio State visiting Pegula on January 8 and 9. Penn State will then head to Michigan State on January 15 and 16 before hosting Wisconsin for a Thursday-Friday series on January 21 and 22. A trip to Notre Dame on January 29 and 30 rounds out the month.

The Nittany Lions will wrap up non-conference play at Robert Morris on February 6 before returning to Hockey Valley for four straight home games. Minnesota visits on February 12 and 13, followed by Michigan State on February 19 and 20.

Penn State’s final regular-season road series comes at Ohio State on February 26 and 27. The Nittany Lions will finish the regular season at Pegula Ice Arena against Michigan on Thursday, March 4, and Friday, March 5.
