With the Penn State football season underway, so is something near and dear to many Penn Staters’ hearts—tailgate season.

With Beaver Stadium at the heart of Saturday, Happy Valley is filled with tents full of people in blue and white, the smell of barbecue, music blasting from all around, and, of course, the chants of “We Are.”

For the most part, this combination creates an unforgettable experience of what it means to support the Nittany Lions. However, sometimes a tailgate goes wrong.

Maybe you had one too many to drink, it rained out, or your favorite team lost, causing the gameday atmosphere to plummet. Whatever it is, a bad tailgate experience can teach future tailgaters a lesson.
