No. 13 Penn State Football Favored Against Wisconsin In First Big Ten Contest

Penn State football hosts the Wisconsin Badgers at Beaver Stadium for their first conference matchup this Saturday at 5 p.m. in Week 4.
No. 13 Penn State remains a favorite for the fourth straight week, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. The moneyline is set at -375 for the Nittany Lions, and the spread is -10 at -108 odds.
Bettors also favor the blue and white, with 97% taking Penn State’s moneyline, however, 40% have bet on Wisconsin to cover +10 points.
The over/under is set at 44.5.
The Badgers enter Happy Valley with a 2-1 record after a blowout win over Eastern Michigan at Camp Randall Stadium.
Fifth-year wide receiver Tyrell Henry exploded for 14 receptions, 160 yards, and a touchdown. According to Pro Football Focus, Henry (92.9) was the only wide receiver in the nation graded higher than Koby Howard (90.8) in Week 3.
Howard was ruled out for the matchup.
The Nittany Lions have held opponents to under 300 yards through the air combined this season, and their secondary will be tested by Henry’s explosiveness — similar to last week’s matchup against Chase Morrow. Penn State held Morrow to two catches for 31 yards.
Last week, Wisconsin quarterback Colton Joseph threw for 300 yards by halftime, though the run game was weaker without Abu Sama III, who sat out the matchup. He is expected to return against the Nittany Lions.
Penn State leads the all-time record against Wisconsin at 12-9 and is 8-2 against the Badgers in their last 10 matchups.
The squads haven’t met at Beaver Stadium since 2018, when Miles Sanders ran for 159 yards in a running back contest against Jonathan Taylor, who broke the game open with a 71-yard touchdown and totaled 185 yards. The Nittany Lions won 22-10.
Following their 55-13 beatdown of Buffalo, the Nittany Lions have jumped in the AP poll from No. 14 to No. 13.
Penn State’s national championship odds have risen from +6000 to +5500, alongside Florida (+4000), Tennessee (+5500), and Texas A&M (+6000).
The Badgers are +100,000 to win the national championship.
