Trisha Paytas is set to visit Penn State this month.

The social media influencer, singer, and actress will speak at a student-moderated lecture hosted by Penn State’s Student Programming Association (SPA), according to an Instagram post.

The event will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, in Heritage Hall in the HUB.

Paytas, who has more than 5 million subscribers, became famous online for her YouTube channel.

She began creating content on YouTube in 2007, focusing on fashion and relationships before pivoting to comedic videos.

Paytas has also appeared on multiple television shows, including “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “Celebrity Big Brother,” and “My Strange Addiction.”

Now Paytas hosts her own podcast, “Just Trish,” which she launched in July 2023 and has 767,000 YouTube subscribers. 

Paytas’ appearance was teased earlier today on SPA’s Instagram, with hints like “Cleopatra” and “iconic” sparking conversation about who would be appearing for a lecture.

The post also gave commenters who guessed the mystery guest correctly a chance to enter a raffle for two free tickets.

Tickets for the event will be free to Penn State students and available September 27 at 6 p.m. through Discover on a first-come, first-served basis. Students must RSVP for the event, and waitlisted students will be directed to a standby line and admitted as capacity allows. 

Lines will form at 5:30 p.m. and doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
