Three More Players Out For Penn State Football Against Northwestern On Wednesday Availability Report

Three more players were downgraded to out for Penn State football’s Friday night matchup against Northwestern, per the Big Ten’s Wednesday availability report. Linebacker Cam Smith, cornerback Christian Askew, and kicker Cristiano Rosa will all miss action in Penn State’s second Big Ten contest of the season.

Cornerback Daryus Dixson is now the only player listed as questionable, retaining his Tuesday status. Matt Campbell said Dixson got “dinged up” at the end of the first half against Wisconsin, but the sophomore did practice Wednesday.

Defensive ends Lavar Arrington II, Max Granville, Dayshaun Burnett, and Mason Robinson remain out. Cornerbacks Joshua Johnson and Tyler Armstead, wide receiver Koby Howard, offensive lineman Will Tompkins, and tight end Cooper Alexander will not suit up against the Wildcats.
