Delta Sigma Iota fraternity has reactivated its Alpha Chapter at Penn State, the chapter announced on Thursday.

The South Asian multicultural fraternity was founded at Penn State in 2000 and now operates across 11 universities.

Involved students can shape the chapter’s culture and direction, plan events, manage budgets, and participate in professional development.

Students can also engage in philanthropic events supporting THON, Toys for Tots, and Movember.

The fraternity has also partnered with Be the Match in support of the National Marrow Donor Program, as well as Only with Consent to raise awareness of sexual harassment, abuse, and assault.

Delta Sigma Iota has a growing national network of over 650 alumni with careers in medicine, law, and business. The fraternity is seeking students to help rebuild the Alpha Chapter at Penn State.”
