Penn State Football Linebacker Cam Smith Upgraded To Probable Against Michigan On Thursday Availability Report

Penn State football linebacker Cam Smith was upgraded to probable for the Nittany Lions’ Week 7 matchup against Michigan, per the Big Ten’s Thursday availability report.
Smith was listed as questionable on Wednesday, but is now expected to suit up for just his third game of the season and first since the Buffalo game. He is expected to play a bigger role with linebacker Alex Tatsch out for the season.
Other names on Penn State’s probable list include wide receiver Chase Sowell, defensive end Yvan Kemajou, and defensive tackle Armstrong Nnodim. Sowell is a fresh addition, while running back Carson Hansen and cornerback Josiah Zayas are off the list and should be full-gos against the Wolverines.
Kickoff specialist Cristiano Rosa was downgraded to out after popping up as questionable on Wednesday. He hasn’t played since the Wisconsin game.
Other than that, Penn State’s out list remains the same.
Wide receiver Koby Howard, defensive ends Lavar Arrington II, Max Granville, Mason Robinson, and Dayshaun Burnett, cornerbacks Joshua Johnson, Christian Askew, and Tyler Armstead, linebacker Tatsch, offensive lineman Will Tompkins, tight end Cooper Alexander, and defensive tackle Liam Andrews are all set to miss action before the bye week.
