Penn State Women’s Hockey Standout Nicole Hall Named To Sweden’s Roster For Upcoming Tournaments

Penn State women’s hockey forward Nicole Hall has been named to the Sweden National Team roster for the Lidl Hockey Games and the 2026 IIHF Women’s World Championship, Team Sweden announced Tuesday.
The junior alternate captain is one of 24 players to represent Sweden at the tournaments.
Sweden will compete against Czechia, Finland, and Switzerland in the Lidl Hockey Games, which take place October 28 to 31 in Södertälje, Sweden.
The Games will be the national team’s final competition to prepare for the IIHF Women’s World Championship in Denmark, which takes place November 6 to 16.
Hall has been a key contributor for the Nittany Lions’ attack through the first eight games, scoring four goals and tallying an assist. Her highlight appearance was a two-goal game in a 4-0 win at Syracuse on October 10.
Hall has represented Sweden in 82 games, scoring 12 goals and adding 12 assists for 24 points. She captained Sweden’s 2022 IIHF U18 Women’s team before making her Olympic debut earlier this year at the Milano-Cortina Winter Games.
Sweden is currently No. 6 in the IIHF World Rankings. They were eliminated in the quarter-finals in 2025.
