John Summit Brings All The Rave To The Bryce Jordan Center

John Summit brought the party to the Bryce Jordan Center Friday with a night full of costumes, lasers, and enough bass to keep the energy pumping through the arena.

Dutch DJ Mesto warmed up the crowd before Alok took the stage. Alok kept the energy high with well-known tracks like “Say My Name,” “Can I Ride,” and his remix of “Heads Will Roll.”

When the lights went out, the crowd went wild when Summit entered the stage.

From that moment on, the party didn’t slow down. Summit played popular tracks like “Shades of Blue,” “Palms of My Hands,” “Shadows,” and “Light Years.” He even mixed his own hits with throwbacks like “Hollaback Girl,” “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” and “Where Have You Been.”

The crowd went wild for some familiar mixes, like his remix of “Sweet Disposition,” while confetti and fire were added to the production. Summit even moved from the main stage to play some of his set from the 100-level seats before making his way back down through the crowd on the floor.

Between throwback videos from Summit’s upbringing and tracks like “Silence” and “Go Back,” the set offered Penn Staters a little bit of everything.

“You guys are awesome,” Summit said before exclaiming, “Penn State, I love you guys.”

With rave outfits throughout the crowd, massive lasers and a set packed with recognizable hits, Summit turned the BJC into one huge dance floor.
