[Photo Story] Best Fan Costumes From Penn State Football’s Halloween Game

On Halloween, Penn State fans crammed into Beaver Stadium to watch Penn State football beat Purdue 31-17. Naturally, some students showed up in their best costumes.

From SpongeBob to Pop-Tarts to “Step Brother” themed outfits, the Penn State faithful went all out for Halloween.

As always, our photographers were on scene to capture some of the best costumes. Here are some of our favorites.

Let’s start with a few couples’ costumes. It’s always great seeing Mario, Lightning McQueen, and Sally Carrera.

Unserious costumes never fail to make us smile.

Onesies were very popular this year (I’m looking at you, Squidward, Charizard, and Donkey Kong).

Where’s Waldo?

Similar colors, completely different characters.

A few other costumes stole the show but were not shown. Dr. Doom, Oscar the Grouch, the knights from Monty Python, and Plants vs. Zombies — while we don’t have your photos, just know we noticed you.

We hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!
