Penn Staters Support THON Through NFL’s ‘My Cause, My Cleats’ Initiative

THON cleats are back on the field, folks.

NFL’s annual “My Cause, My Cleats” initiative has returned for another season, allowing players to sport specially designed cleats honoring a charitable cause of their choice. Many former Penn State football players chose to represent THON and Four Diamonds on their shoes this year.

This year, eight Nittany Lions supported THON: Tyler Warren, Jahan Doston, Mitchell Tinsley, DaQuan Jones, Chris Stoll, Olu Fashanu, Yetur Gross-Matos, and Jordan Stout. Two non-Penn Staters also chose to support the cause in Tanner McKee and Ty Robinson.

Stout also supported THON and Four Diamonds with his cleats last year.

Most of the “My Cause, My Cleats” throughout the NFL will be auctioned off. Any of the THON cleats that go up for auction will have their proceeds go to THON and Four Diamonds.
